The Right to
Conscious Exploration

We believe that the freedom to explore one’s own consciousness—through whatever tools one chooses—is a fundamental human right.

While no explicit legal framework currently protects this right, its essence is reflected in:

Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), Article 18 – Freedom of Thought, Conscience, and Religion
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance."

International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), Article 18 – Freedom of Thought, Conscience, and Religion
"No one shall be subject to coercion which would impair his freedom to have or to adopt a religion or belief of his choice."

From birth, we possess consciousness—the most intimate and personal aspect of our existence. Throughout history, humans have engaged with natural and cultural tools to expand, understand, and deepen their conscious experience. No one should be criminalized for exploring their own mind. If no harm is caused to others, why should this be restricted?
